Noor Esmail is Executive Director at Fraser Health Authority and Chief Project Officer for the $2.4 billion Burnaby Hospital Redevelopment Project, leading its transformation into a modern healthcare campus. With over 30 years of experience, he has managed major capital projects at Vancouver Coastal Health and Lower Mainland Facilities Management, including Lions Gate and Richmond hospitals. Previously, he directed capital projects in education and healthcare across Africa, the Middle East, and South/Central Asia with the Aga Khan Development Network. Noor holds multiple degrees from McGill University and was appointed to the BCIT Board of Governors in July 2024.

Ryan Tones is managing 1,000 employees and leading major construction projects across Canada. With 25+ years of experience, he has overseen iconic BC projects like the Sea-to-Sky Highway and Port Mann/Highway 1 improvements, and currently directs the 264th Street Interchange, YVR’s North Runway Modernization, and Cheekeye Debris Flow Barrier. Ryan serves on boards like BCIT’s Board of Governors and the Canadian Infrastructure Safety Council, and was honored with the Keith and Betty Beedie Leadership in Philanthropy Award in 2023. He holds a Diploma of Civil Technology from BCIT and a Civil Engineering degree from UBC.
